I hope that by exchanging interests, insights, and all the feels, we can encourage each other to find our truths; to live what we love and follow our hearts to make ways for a more conscious, loving world.

Honoring and Welcoming the Process

Honoring and Welcoming the Process

“Sometimes fate is like a small sandstorm that keeps changing directions. You change direction but the sandstorm chases you. You turn again, but the storm adjusts. Over and over you play this out, like some ominous dance with death just before dawn. Why? Because this storm isn't something that blew in from far away, something that has nothing to do with you. This storm is you. Something inside of you. So all you can do is give in to it, step right inside the storm, closing your eyes and plugging up your ears so the sand doesn't get in, and walk through it, step by step. There's no sun there, no moon, no direction, no sense of time. Just fine white sand swirling up into the sky like pulverized bones. That's the kind of sandstorm you need to imagine.
And once the storm is over you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about.”
— Haruki Murakami

Today's Mantra:

"Healing can not be rushed. I am grateful of where I am on my path. I honor and invite the process fully."

In such a fast-pace and moving society, oftentimes we find ourselves seeking and wanting in on quick fixes. We can't work out and expect to look fit in a day, or meditate for some time and expect to be enlightened within hours. There may be times that we find ourselves in a place of darkness, in the 'waiting' place to start to feel alive and well again. It's okay to find yourself here; in fact, honor the feelings, the emotions - anger, fear, sadness, or happiness, love - and be present with them.

Once we drop the expectation, acknowledge the present, and invite in the healing for/from new ideas, opportunities, perspectives - we vibrate with that higher frequency and attract all that we need (and truly want, soulwise). Indirectly and with time it may come, but it will come. Baron Baptiste says that "transformation is an endless process to be lived. It cannot be captured or possessed; you can only participate in it." Just show up, at least you're showing up!! and if it makes you feel better, I can assure you that we are all winging it, all figuring our shit out. Relax and let the process feel good.

Awareness is the first and greatest step.

Within the process, perspective (along with self-love) is everything - the difference between opportunity and obstacle is our point of view. Allow yourself to accept the whole of it - the bad and the ugly too - and reach to find the opportunity, the growth, and the teaching that lies within it all. Healing cannot be rushed. Honor where you are today, be present, and strive to be that best version of you that you know you are. Also, don't be so hard on yourself; you don't have to read into everything so, so deeply. Just flow with the feels, take it easy sometimes~

All is unfolding as it should. Let go of expectations and trust that you are right where you need to be. Welcome to the process!!

Happy Monday fam <3
