Turn it into Positive: Reach for the Good

There is so much tension and movement in the air - with all the political, environmental, social adversity going on, it may be hard to stay grounded and trust in the flow of things. We may even find ourselves feeling divided, disconnected, angry, or sad. But to turn this darkness, these chaotic times into light is the ultimate. . Maybe see it as a time that the world is finally ready to be healed. If you see the reckless leaders of America and all over the world, maybe see it see that we're realizing that we must stand up and fight.
Even zooming in from the global scale and tuning this in to our personal day-to-day lives: You may find yourself upset in the way someone treats you. Or you may find yourself always criticizing and judging yourself and others which leads you to frustration or lack of self-love. When this happens, many of us may tend to take that energy and hold on to it, maybe even lashing it out on others. Or on ourselves, in the most painful, hurtful ways.
But with this affirmation and this simple awareness in mind, we can see the way we react to situations and hear the internal discourse. From there, without judgement, just focus on reaching for the good - from reacting to responding. From negative to positive. I may sound repetitive as I have said this in a couple recent posts, but truly: the difference between opportunity and obstacle is our point of view. Perspective is everything.
